Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to do the same:
Step 1: Get to the “Home screen” in the game, press the “Options” button, and navigate to the “Settings” menu.
Step 2: Scroll down to click on “Account and network” and make sure that the “Crossplay” option here is enabled along with “Crossplay communication.”
Step 3: After you’ve enabled the crossplay option in-game, head back over to the home screen and press the “Options” button. Go on to navigate to the “Friends” menu, and click on “Add“.
Step 4: Now, click on the “Don’t know Activision ID” option and select the platform that your friend is playing on. You can search for them using Activision ID, Playstation ID, Xbox Gamer Tag, and so on, and when you have them added, click the “Send request” button.
Step 5: Select the friend who just invited you over, and navigate to “Channels.” Click on “Create” and then invite more friends to your channel in the same way as “Step 4.”
Step 6: Press the “Options” button and navigate to the “Channels” menu. You’ll be able to see the channel that you just created under the “My Channels” heading. Connect to it and you’ll be able to communicate with everyone in that channel.
