Overwatch 2 can’t invite friends to group issue: how to fix it?
Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to be able to do the same:
Step 1: While in-game, press the “Escape” button on your keyboard to access the game menu.
Step 2: Click on “Social” and then choose the friend who you want to invite over from the “Friends” list. Then, click on the player’s name and then click on “Whisper.” Finally, type in a message and hit “Enter” to send it.
Step 3: Click on the player’s name again and this time select the “Remove as friend” option. Now, just go back over to your chat, click on their name, and select the “Add battle.net friend” option to add them back. Re-invite them after you’ve done all this, and you will find the issue resolved.
Step 4: Alternatively, after Step 3, if you need to re-invite your friend, you can just click on “Play” on the home screen and then navigate over to the “Custom Game” option. Create a new custom game and invite your friend through battle.net or your friends list.
