What do we know about the game so far?
Speaking about the announcement of the game, Producer William Lu said: “We are beyond excited to finally reveal Earth: Revival to gamers around the world. We can’t wait to show you around the world we’ve been building. We have always wanted to combine third person shooter combat mechanics with open world and survival genres to create a unique synergy that will make players feel like the world is full of identity and constantly changing and evolving around them! This description itself ignites a spark of excitement and hope. Players around the world are waiting for this game to be finally released.
Now, owing to the trailer released by IGN on August 19th, 2022, we already know that the game is set in the year 2112 on a ravaged Planet Earth dominated by extra-terrestrials. And the game just starts here. Players will have to embark on a journey and must stick together to defeat the mysterious alien species and reclaim their home planet. They will also need to construct their own base and explore the open world to find futuristic weapons, powerful machinery, advanced armor, and other rations to defeat the aliens in exciting third-person shooter combat. Along with this, multiplayer activities like team tournaments, raids, and battle royale mode will also be available to the players. To help players on their journey, NVIDIA Omniverse’s virtual AI called Lydia will also be present in the game. Only the fittest will survive in this harsh world surrounded by aliens and mutant threats.
The game is set to be released worldwide somewhere in 2023 for PC, Android and iOS devices with cross platform progression support.
However, there is no official release date yet for Playstation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X or Nintendo Switch. The game may or may not release for these platforms. We cannot say anything until further details are let out by the developers. But however it may be, we’ll surely keep you updated.
