Sony Interactive Entertainment’s PlayStation 5 is a next-generation video gaming system. The console is speedier, boasts better graphics, and has a better user interface than the PS4.
The PlayStation 5 came with a revolutionary new controller known as the DualSense Controller. The DualSense controller—the successor to PS4’s Dualshock controller—has a striking new appearance and a reworked shape that is more comfortable in the hands, making it a fundamentally superior, more intriguing controller. It also has some next-level mechanisms thanks to the skillfully executed haptics and variable trigger resistance, which open up possibilities for more immersive experiences through tactile input. Today, we’re going to discuss and provide solutions to an issue that many users of this DualSense controller are facing, i.e. “Weak Vibrations” on the controller. So let’s see how to fix it.
How to fix weak vibrations on the PS5 Dualsense controller?
Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to get accurate vibration feedback on the PS5 controller:
Step 1- Reset your PS5 controller by taking a needle and inserting it into the small hole on the back of your controller. Hold it for about 5 seconds and your controller should be reset.
Step 2- Head over to “Settings” on the PS5 and scroll down to select “System“. Under “System Software,” click on “Reset Options” and choose “Restore Default Settings“.
Step 3- Enter the default PIN, i.e. “0000”, or the PIN that you might have set. Once the process is complete, your controller settings will also be reset.
Step 4- Again in the “Settings” menu, scroll down to select “Accessories“. Under “Controllers“, click on “Vibration Intensity” and choose the one that suits you the most in-game. Do the same with the “Trigger Effect Intensity” option below it. We recommend setting both to “Strong (Standard)“.
Also, make sure that your controller is fully charged.
That’s all, folks! We hope that we were able to help you fix the weak vibrations on your PS5 controller.
