Developed by CyberConnect2, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an open world RPG game that is currently available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch platforms. (To be released in 2023 for new generation platforms)
The four main Dragon Ball Z sagas—the Saiyan Saga, the Frieza Saga, the Cell Saga, and the Buu Saga—are told in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, a semi-open world game that puts you in the roles of Goku, Gohan, and the other Z Warriors. Story mode and Exploration mode are the primary game modes. One of the game’s four main sagas begins the moment you switch to the story mode. You are dragged along for the journey during this part of the game, with the playable characters expanding as you continue to play. While the other Z-Warriors are not playable, Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, Future Trunks, Vegito, and Gotenks are. You are led through the tale in this part of the game, which includes cut sequences and requires combat. You can simply exit the game after a few tasks are finished and switch to exploration mode. Now is a perfect moment to explore Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s expansive environment, finish the side story, and learn about alternative activities. Even though there is a lot to figure out in the game itself, the controls are simple and straightforward to grasp. In the game, there are many ways to improve your characters, including Soul Emblems that can be assembled on community boards to receive bonuses; food that can be given to characters to increase their stats; Skill Trees that can be trained to unlock new attacks; and Attack Palettes that can be put together. Aside from the narrative and gameplay, the game also has fantastic fighting graphics that, if you’re a fan of DBZ, will absolutely blow your mind. Since the game’s release in 2020, fans have been anxiously awaiting more and more DLC to extend their enjoyment of it.
