Can you play Destiny 2 with a mouse & keyboard on PS4, PS5, & Xbox?

Released in 2017, Destiny 2 is a free-to-play multiplayer FPS game that features a mythic sci-fi world.

Destiny 2 Witch Queen

Developed by Bungie, Destiny 2 is currently available for PC, PS4/PS5 and all Xbox One/Series X/Series S platforms. The game features an immersive story in which you take on the character of a guardian with superpowers from one of three classes and carry out a number of different missions. Ever since the game has been released, it has been in the news for it’s amazing graphics and control mechanism. Destiny also has had many highs and lows. There are a few issues to be aware of. For example, because of the strength of weapons and numerous exploits, strong weapons and abilities are often changed or nerfed making all weapons feel different. When they make the necessary adjustments, however, things return to normal. This can occasionally make pvp especially frustrating. Microtransactions are also available through the Eververse store, however they are simply decorative and have no bearing on gameplay. Although the game has some really cool features along with a few flaws, one thing that still confuses much of the Destiny players is that “Can Destiny 2 be played using a mouse and keyboard on Consoles?” So let’s dive right in and see how can we do that.

Can you play Destiny 2 with a mouse and keyboard on PS4, PS5, and Xbox?

In short, the answer is “NO!” You read that right—the developers have not added any support for playing with a mouse and keyboard on the consoles as of now. Our team has already tested out many hacks to make them work on the game, but nothing has worked out so far. Hence, it seems like you’ll have to use your console controller only to play Destiny 2 on PlayStation or Xbox.

That’s all, folks! We’ll be sure to update this if the support for mice and keyboards for consoles is added in the future.

Till then, thanks for reading. Stay tuned
