Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to do the same:
Step 1: Start the game, press the “Options” button, and tab over to “Settings.”
Step 2: Click on “Controller” and then scroll up till you find the “Button Layout Preset” option. Now, you’ll see many pre-made layouts by the names of “Stick and Move” and “Tactical” layout, etc. This option is for those who created a unique but pre-made layout. Step 3: Leave the game on, head over to the PS5 “Home screen,” and click on “Settings.”
Step 4: Click on “accessibility” and then select “controllers“. Now, select “Custom button assignments for DualSense wireless controllers” and then turn on the “Enable custom button assignments” option.
Step 5: Click on the “Custom button assignments” option below it, and you will be able to remap any button to any place that you want. After you’re done with re-mapping, click on “Apply” and your custom settings will be saved.
Step 6: Head back over to the game and press the “PS Button.” Select “Accessibility” from the bar menu and go to “Accessibility settings,” and again click on “Custom button assignments for dual-sense wireless controllers” to make sure that your layout is enabled in the game.
