After much waiting, Blizzard Entertainment launched Overwatch 2 on October 4 as the sequel title to Overwatch, a popular hero-shooter game that was released in 2016. Watch the trailer below if you already haven’t!
Overwatch 2, the most recent game in the Overwatch series, is now available for PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The developers of the game have concentrated on including fresh and cutting-edge features in the game that weren’t in the previous game in order for players to enjoy it. One of the features of the game includes enabling haptic feedback for the PS5 controller and enhancing its haptic trigger effects and vibrations, but in a game like Overwatch 2, particularly in multiplayer, this function may provide more disadvantages than benefits. Accuracy is essential for success in this game, but the vibration from the haptic feedback can make it difficult. So it makes sense to disable the functionality. We’ll show you today how to turn off this feature so you can play the game more easily.
Overwatch 2: How to turn off the trigger effect and vibrations on the PS5 controller?
Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to do the same:
Step 1: While in game, press the “Options” button to open up the menu.
Step 2: Scroll on down and click on “Options” to open up the game settings window. Under at the top, you’ll be able to see the option of “Wireless controller.” Just click on it and then click on “Advanced” to open up the complex settings for your controller.
Step 3: Scroll on down to “Vibration” and make sure to toggle it to “Off.” Also, turn off the “Enable Dualsense Trigger Feedback” option.
That’s all, folks! These were the simple steps that you needed to follow in order to turn off vibrations and trigger effects for your controller in Overwatch 2.
