Train Sim World 3 is a brand new train simulation game that made its way to PC, PS4/PS5, and Xbox One/X/S platforms in 2018.
With a new lighting system that improves immersion and realism, Train Sim World 3 features a new dynamic weather system that produces stunning volumetric skies. The trains can be driven through all kinds of weather conditions, including snow and thunderstorms. The driving experience is changed, and players must pay great attention to track conditions. Although small in comparison to the enormous machines, even the leaves on the track present considerable difficulties for drivers since they can significantly lower the friction required for trains to pull their hefty loads of cargo or passengers. The game creates such a challenge for players that only true train simulation fans can go through it. Also, a facility has been added in the game to practise operating the locomotives featured in Train Sim World 3. Even after two years, the game is known to have a few issues and missing features that detract from the overall gaming experience for the players. One of such missing features is “no feature to change mouse sensitivity.” Today, we’re going to help you get rid of this issue so that you can get back to gaming.
Train Sim World 3 can’t change the mouse sensitivity issue: Fix it with this workaround.
The game clearly doesn’t have an option to adjust the sensitivity, so the only option that remains is changing the mouse DPI manually. The DPI changing button is located underneath the rotation wheel, and activating it allows the user to quickly modify the DPI. You can use it effectively if you have the mouse manufacturer’s software installed on your PC. However, if you don’t have a DPI button on your mouse, you can still reduce the cursor speed. To do this, just click on the “Windows” icon, open “Settings“, click on “Devices,” and then select “Mouse” from the available list of devices. Now, click on “Additional mouse options,” click on “Pointer options,” and adjust the pointer speed slider under the “Motion” heading according to your own comfort. Finally, click on “Apply,” click on “OK,” and close the window.
That’s all, folks! These are the only ways in which you can adjust the DPI of your mouse to have decent sensitivity in games. We’ll make sure to update any additional methods that become available in the future to do the same thing.
Till then, thanks for reading. Stay tuned.
