After much speculation, Blizzard Entertainment has published Overwatch 2 on October 4, 2022 as the follow-up to the well-liked shooter game Overwatch, which was first released in 2016. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, do so below.
Overwatch 2 stays true to its primary objective-focused game modes but changes things up by using 5v5 instead of 6v6 matchups. Teams with locked roles will only have one tank in addition to the customary two damage heroes and supports. Along with new maps for already-existing modes, Push will introduce a brand-new game where teams compete for control of a robot that must advance into enemy territory in order to earn points. At some point in 2023, co-op PvE missions will also be available. They will advance the plot and give players a new way to play Overwatch 2. But because it’s a team game, you’ll have the most fun if you coordinate with your teammates to decide what to do next. And for that, you’ll need a working microphone and the knowledge of how to activate the “Push to Talk” option in Overwatch 2. Today, we’re going to tell you exactly how to turn on this feature and use it to your advantage.
Overwatch 2: How to turn on “Push to Talk” feature?
Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to do the same:
Step 1: While in game, press the “Options” button to bring up the menu.
Step 2: Click on “Options” and tab on over to “Sound.”
Step 3: Under the “Voice Chat” section, make sure that the “Match Voice Chat” option is turned ON and set “Team Voice Chat” to “Auto Join.” Also, set “Voice Chat Devices” to “Default Devices” and then change the “Voice Chat Mode” to “Push to Talk.”
Step 4: Click on the “Push to Talk” Keys option and set the key that you want to assign to this feature.
